Sydney Growth Trains

The NSW Government has ordered 24 new eight-car trains based on the Waratah design, meaning more reliable and comfortable commuter services will begin rolling onto the tracks from late 2018.

Transport Engineering was the successful tenderer to become the Technical Advisor to TfNSW for the delivery of the Sydney Growth Trains project. We provide two geographically separated but integrated teams within Sydney and Changchun to advise TfNSW on the technical risks and opportunities throughout the delivery phase. Our Sydney team comprises technical managers and engineers from all disciplines to provide engineering support throughout the design and manufacturing phases. Our Changchun team comprises quality and production engineers to aid TfNSW in managing production risks throughout the manufacturing phase.
